Braids (or plaits) definitely emerged as a major hair trend for Autumn/Winter 16/17, already featured in several blogs and on social media.

Very street style inspired, we can find them of different styles: neat, sleek and polish on this season’s show as well as on the biggest celebrities’ heads.

Victoria’s Secret angels are part of the most influential women of the worldwide beauty and fashion scene. The brand has made these faces extremely powerful, especially thanks to their sexy and slight beachy hair, a glamorous signature look that established its identity as the brand providing the most beautiful runway show.

The “Glunge” (mixture of glamorous and grunge) is a trend name we have seen blowing up from time to time, referring to someone who brings a particular gothic and dark look to some sex appeal.

Then adapted to make up and now hairstyles, it involves very loose waves that almost look days old, while staying super attractive.

Made famous by our LP hairstylist Anh Co Tran, this slightly beachy long bob cut is a perfect look for summer as well as winter. Not too short or too lengthy, with or without bangs, it’s the perfect compromise for a chic Hollywood celebrity style.

The modern Bob is a classic and permanent trend thanks to its malleability that makes it never go out of style. Whatever the season and according to the versatility of hair textures, it can be worn several ways like tightly coiled, wavy but also bone straight.

This trend is a tribute to the legendary rock’n’roll artist David Bowie, who influenced multiple generations by crossing boundaries with an undeniable talent, a huge 50-year-old career but also edgy glam rock styles. The hairstyle we decided to highlight for this season is his mullet, this iconic textured look he adopted in 1973 with slicked back or plated hair on the side of the head revealing the ears.
